This workshop mainly aims to promote mutual understanding between young psychologists, leading to the advancement of psychological science. This time, we would like to invite young psychologists, engaged in research from evolutionary and developmental perspectives. We would therefore like to ask you to join this workshop and exchange information about your research with fellow young scientists from Japan and several other countries. We hope to foster friendly cooperation between our invited speakers during the meeting and also in the future.

The 21st century COE program of Kyoto University Psychological Union
aims at comprehensive understanding of mental functions by integrating
experimental, field, and clinical approaches to mind. With the goal set
at “knowing mind and fostering mind”, we aim to solve social problems
invited by the highly information-oriented and aging society of the present
